      <title>NAEBA Transitions to New Database</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;NAEBA members will experience a new database and website platform starting August 17.&amp;nbsp; Members may update their profile and manage their membership when they login.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Creating a login is easy!&amp;nbsp; The Username is the member's email and the password is what ever they choose.&amp;nbsp; On the first time using the system members request a password reset and then click on the link that is sent to their email.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Members are encouraged to upload their image or logo and provide a brief bio.&amp;nbsp; The directory is available for members to connect with one another and network with fellow EBAs.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The website platform is very flexible and updates to the site content are easy to make.&amp;nbsp; Members are encouraged to make suggestions to help create a website that provides value for their membership.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The consumer-facing referral site is managed by a professional marketing company and the member site is manged by the administrative staff and volunteers.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Thanks to all the NAEBA members who help make this association great!&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Consumer Advocates Warn Homebuyers About Disruptive Real Estate Business Models</title>

&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Lucida Sans" style="font-size: 14px;" color="#333333"&gt;The National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents (NAEBA) is warning home-buying consumers about new business models that may be good for some companies’ bottom line but can be a big mistake for first-time homebuyers&amp;nbsp;and those new to a market.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

In the Boston market, properties are selling at asking price, below asking price, and for as much as $100,000 over asking price. Bidding wars start when properties are intentionally underpriced, making it hard for buyers to know what the legitimate fair price for the property might be. In a bidding war market environment, going at it alone is a great way to lose your head, and tens of thousands of dollars. Redfin is saying that having a buyer's agent doesn't matter; it actually matters, in spades, in a hot market like this. Notice that the sellers still have an agent telling them what offer to&amp;nbsp;accept."&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
